Precautions for the use of Danfoss cycloidal motors
Installation
Installation stiffness: The mounting bracket must have sufficient stiffness to prevent the motor from vibrating when the system pressure is shocked.
Coaxiality and verticality: The motor output shaft should be coaxial with the center line of the coupling, and the mounting surface should be perpendicular to the output shaft axis, with an error of no more than 0.05~0.1mm.
Pipeline stress: The inlet and return oil pipelines should be completely free of stress to avoid exerting force on the motor.
Return oil pipeline design: The return oil resistance should be lower than 0.3MPa, and it should be connected to the oil tank separately to avoid being connected in series with other return oil pipelines.
Oil filling and inspection: Before installation, fill the motor housing with clean hydraulic oil from the two oil ports, and install the machine only after the output shaft is rotated without abnormality.
Radial load: Avoid the motor output shaft from being subjected to radial loads exceeding the specified value.
System design
Working pressure: Intermittent working pressure refers to the maximum allowable pressure of the oil inlet, and continuous working pressure refers to the pressure difference between the oil inlet and the return oil port.
Working speed and pressure: It is not allowed to use the motor at the maximum speed and maximum pressure at the same time.
Intermittent working conditions: When working intermittently, the motor shall not run for more than 10% per minute.
Oil temperature control: The maximum oil temperature should not exceed 80℃, and a cooling device should be installed if necessary.
Run-in period: The motor should be run-in before full load operation. It is recommended to run-in for 1 hour at less than 30% of the maximum working pressure.
Hydraulic oil
Viscosity selection: When selecting hydraulic oil, the relationship between oil viscosity and temperature should be considered to ensure that it has the appropriate viscosity under working conditions.
Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness of the oil in the hydraulic system to avoid contamination leading to failure and wear.
Oil inspection: If the oil color turns black, there may be an overheating problem; if the oil is emulsified, there may be water contamination.
Maintenance and monitoring
Regular oil change: After the motor is put into operation for about 200 hours, the oil should be changed and the oil filter should be cleaned.
No fault, no disassembly: If there is no motor failure, do not disassemble it easily.
Pre-operation inspection: Before operation, check whether the hydraulic system components are connected correctly, and add oil to the specified height through the filter.
No-load start: Start the operation for 10~15 minutes under no-load condition and exhaust.
Gradually increase the load: After removing the air, gradually increase the load and observe whether there are any abnormal phenomena.
